About me

María Clara Miserendino is a 21-years-old undergraduate student in Biotechnology at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina. She is very passionate about genomics and its huge impact that transcends international borders. The unsolved mysteries behind genomic information are what motivates her to continue her studies in this field in the future. She is an advocate for science communication and STEM Education. Her awareness of the importance of science drove her to found STEM education projects within Latin America. Clara was selected as one of the 100 Young Leaders in Biotechnology from Latin America in 2020 by Allbiotech.
